   Hey my little makeup minions!
So, I have the middle product. The MYMIX foundation. One word: spectacular. Never in my life have I used a foundation that matches my skin tone so beautifully. The coverage is sheer yet build able. I applied it with a damp sponge, and I was so shocked at the beautiful glow this gave me. I have A LOT of red tones in my skin, this foundation somehow cancels them out without making me looked washed out. I have been using this for about two weeks, and I have extremely sensitive skin, but I haven't had a single issue with this foundation. I can't seem to express in words how much I love this stuff!!! I will never, ever use another foundation again.
The packaging is sleek and modern. It would fit easily in a clutch if you needed an after work touch up (don't think you would tho! this stuff has some major staying power).  Another thing I really appreciate about this product is the lack of fragrance. Ya know how some foundations (ie COVERGIRL) stink to high hell, not this one!
If you buy one makeup product this year, it needs to be this one.

Chanel Inimitable Intense Review!!!

There is no better mascara on the market. Yes it is a little pricey, but think about all of the cheap mascaras that you purchase and hate. This mascara lasted me about six months of daily (yes daily) use. The reason it lasts so long, is you don't need as many coats to get long, thick amazing lashes. The pigment in the mascara is intense, and it never smudges. The packaging is beautiful, sleek, and sophisticated. I cannot rave about this product enough. This is an amazing mascara!!

L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polish Review

AMAZING!

Imagine how psyched I was when I ran across these (at my local Ace Hardware of all places)!  I generally do not like L.A. Colors, but the previous reviews I have read have all been rather positive, so I thought I would pick a few up.  I purchased eight colors for about 4.16. The store was having a sale that day, so I really lucked out on that one. I think the packaging is fine, it is nail polish, so you can't expect anything too spectatular, right? I swatched out all of the colors I purchased, overall I am very satisfied with the color pay off of these polishes. After two generous coats, the color was very opaque and vibrant. I generally do not paint my own finger nails because waiting for the polish to dry is absolute torture for me, but that was not the case with this polish. It dried quickly even after two generous coats, a coat of there glitter polish, and a regular non quick drying top coat. I was very happy that I didn't have to set around all day waiting for my nails to dry.  Their website makes the claim that this polish is chip resistant, and so far to good. No chips yet, but if it doesn't meet my standards, I will certainly letcha know. Do I think you should buy these? Yes. Without a doubt. Regular price on these polishes is only about 1.79, so buy a few. You won't regret it.

Product Review: Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer

We all know how important it is to prime our eyes to achieve the best colour pay-off from our eyeshadow.  Personally, my favorite primer is Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP), but on a recent trip to Walgreen's, I noticed that they were selling a new Revlon primer. So, on a whim I purchased the primer for just under ten bucks.  I liked the packaging for this primer, I thought it was sleek, and it even has a little brush to make application easier. The primer does the job, and definitely brightens the eyeshadow and prevents it from creasing. I was surprised to see that you only get a measly .08 ounces of product. For me, I expect this primer will last maybe a month, MAYBE--and that is under the best of circumstances. You can get over FOUR times as much UDPP for about twenty bucks. Urban Decay is for sure a better product, and is even LESS expensive. Also, I noticed that it takes LESS UDPP to get the job done. I will be sticking with my Urban Decay from now on, but this DOES NOT mean that you shouldn't try the Revlon Eye Primer-- especially if you have never used primer before, and live in a city where UDPP is not readily available.

Hey my little makeup minions,
So, this is my first attempt at blogging. Hopefully this will be a successful endevour! The purpose of this blog is to review a variety of cosmetics so you can make an informed decision when shopping for make up. How many times have you purchased an eyeshadow, mascara, or blush that you absolutely hated? If you're anything like me, the answer is WAY TOO DAMN MANY.  I will be reviewing a variety of bands. I plan to review drug store and department store cosmetics. I am very aware that in this shitty economy, most people don't want to spend fourty bucks on one tube of mascara, so I will be reviewing products for many budgets. Tomorrow I will be posting my first of many reviews.
